When you are getting ready to live the RV Dream or you are already living it and have too many clothes it’s easy to downsize. I know because I’ve been there.
Downsizing is really simple. Just think about the following 4 steps:
- Make sure you WANT to own fewer clothes.
- Keep the clothes you wear all the time. AKA your favorites.
- Use your favorites as a template when you buy clothes in the future.
- Develop your own style.
Do you want to downsize your clothes?
If you don’t want to own fewer clothes then keep what you have. You’ve gotta live your own life. So, if you don’t want to downsize…don’t.
Keep Your Favorites!
Don’t get rid of the clothes you wear all the time. You wear them all the time for a reason. Probably because you like them, right?
Throw the rest out.
Why keep clothes you don’t wear.
Repeat Your Favorites
If you have clothes you really love to wear…buy more…of the same thing.
I bought a basic cotton button up at Target and I loved it. So, I went back and bought more.
This just makes sense to me.
Don’t you want to be comfortable in the clothes you wear?
You could wear the same outfit over and over and I bet no one would notice. That’s the beauty of it, people really don’t care.
Develop Your Own Style
Take the clothes you love to wear, your favorites, and make those your style.
Keep it simple.
